We are almost finished with our pet supply drive. I was so surprised when i came to school and seen the basket we had put out was overflowing with supplies. I can't wait to deliver these supplies and help out the homeless pets!

We have done really well with our fundraiser. People have been really helpful and supportive through this journey. We plan to drop of our supplies this weekend or the next. We hope to volunteer a couple of times before this school year ends. I learned that people in our community are very supportive and we appreciate it greatly.
Over the past few weeks we have started our animal supply drive to take to Cherry land Humane society. We will be doing the drive through December 10, then deliver to Traverse City. We hope that we can get more items coming in today or in the next couple of days.
Since last week we have been working on wrapping up our fliers! We plan on printing them out and setting them up sometime next week. We our waiting for a response from the volunteer coordinator from our local shelter to find out when we can go in to help out.
Although we have been slow for the past couple of weeks due to other events and priorities, we have made several changes to our website and hope to hang up our fliers today around the school to start our fundraiser. We hope to also get in to volunteer at Cherry Land Humane society but we will have to find time around our busy schedules to visit. Other than that, everything is going very well!
We have made a couple of changes to our website, and made fliers for our fundraiser. Last week was grandparents day, so we did not get much done. We just worked on our website and made plans for the future. Today and the weeks to come, we are going to hang out fliers and talk to our principle about putting a snip bit about our fundraiser in our school's newsletter.
Since my last blog we have created a commercial to encourage people to adopt and support their local shelters. although we have not yet volunteered we have been working on submitting our applications to Cherry Land Human Society. We have been communicating with Cherry Land Human Society, we asked them what supplies they needed, and we have started on a supply drive.
Although we haven't done too much on our project we have made a commercial to advertise the need for homeless animals and what needs to be done to solve the problem. This week we hope to make flyers containing items to donate to our local shelter: Cherry Land Humane Society. By this we hope people will donate all these items and even feel the need to solve this problem by volunteering. Another positive is that our website is definitely moving along. Thank you for time to look at our website, donating and helping us attack this huge problem.
Our project has been going pretty well so far. For the past few weeks, we have been working on a video to raise awareness for these animals. We posted our video on YouTube. We shared our website and video on Facebook to get the word out about what were are doing to our friends and family. The girls and I are planning on starting a fundraiser for people to donate supplies. Thank you all for following us so far on our project and visiting our website. We really appreciate all the support.
Welcome to my first blog! My name is Amelia and I am 15. The 20 time project is a way you can help your community and we thought the idea of homeless animals was a problem in our community. This topic of homeless animals in Michigan is important to me because I have seen these animals before in the shelter and it doesn’t seem like a good life to live. I hope that my team and I will encourage people to want to adopt, and volunteer at the animal shelters. We also hope to volunteer yourselves and donate to our local animal shelter.
My name is Jacklynne and I am 16 years old. My friends and I are hoping to raise awareness and home homeless animals. We plan on volunteering at local animal shelters in hopes to give attention to these unwanted pets, and encourage others to do the same.
I picked doing my 20 time project on homeless dogs because there are a lot of stray and homeless animals in Northern Michigan. The 20 time project is a project that takes several months to try to make a difference in your community. So we spend 20% of class time, each Friday, working on our project. I hope that by volunteering in animal shelters in my area that I raise awareness about homeless animals. And if we can get 1 dog adopted, I'd say its a job well done.
